Woke up this morning to an inch or so of snow on the ground. It instantly reminds me of Psalm 51:7 “…wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.”
After the initial shock of learning of the break-in, I think I am doing alright. I had to remind myself of God’s truths: He is good, He will bring justice, He knew this would happen. But even greater than these (for me) is: He is greater than the things I created, greater than myself (of course!), and also greater than my time. Today, one of our co-workers sent out an email reminding us that our labor is not in vain.
“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Cor. 15:57-58
I am so thankful for that. Even though all that work is gone, God knows that it was done for his glory. And now I will offer up the new work to his glory as well.
Thank you all so much for your prayers. I have received tons of email and messages and feel so blessed by them.
Some prayer requests:
I have trouble sleeping when under stress, even though stress makes me tired. Makes for a bad combination!
We are thinking about organizing other graphic designers in our region to help finish the Christmas Conference program. We need lots of wisdom in doing this.
Thanks again, everyone!
