Sending Laborers to the World

These recent grads are heading back to Michigan State in August to be 1-year missionaries.

The core DNA of our ministry is Win. Build. Send: Win students to faith in Jesus, build them in their faith, and send them to the world. Kristin and I are currently coaching 22 Cru interns who have decided to give the next year of their life to full-time ministry.

Just as we developed a team of ministry partners to both pray and financially partner with us (YOU!), they are in the process of seeing God provide their own team so that they can report to campus this fall.

Remember the prophet Isaiah’s response when the Lord asked, whom shall I send?

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)

It is exciting to see students living out their own response to the Lord’s call to go. Personally, these are my favorite summers. I have the weekly opportunity to listen, challenge and celebrate with them as the Lord refines and prepares them for ministry.

You should know that each one of them will be making an impact for the kingdom this fall and students on their campuses will have the opportunity to hear, receive and experience the gospel as a result.

Will you take a moment, right now, to pray for them? Pray that they continue to walk by faith, continue to experience God’s truths, and continue to mature as followers of Christ.

Thank you for partnering with us. I have been reminded, more so than ever this summer, of the blessing you are and the important role you play in our ministry as we reach students with the gospel.
