Summer Missions – Training of Operations Directors

To develop an easy to follow workflow from start to finish for Operations Directors that standardizes best financial practices for leading short-term mission trips.

In collaboration with other financial leaders, we created an internal Wiki that organizes and details all financial components related to leading a short-term missions trip. I crafted a curriculum for a one day training session that highlights the role and responsibility of an Operations Director leading a short-term missions trip.  I specifically covered: budgeting, processing of income, tracking expenses and various online tools. I also provided ongoing group and one-on-one coaching for Operations Directors.

The creation of simplified systems, clarification of best practices, and on-going training enables leaders to finance and execute their vision. This places leaders in a position to succeed.
